I figured the best way to start this thread off was with a table-flip, because that's what I did when I found out that I needed to vote 584390584309 times and farm for hours on end for one character to be endgame. Before anyone gets to it first, yes this is a QQ thread at the same time it is also a suggestion thread. Now, there's a difference between putting a lot of time into something and putting a lot of work into something. I am a guy who dislikes putting a lot of work into something, especially this early on in the stages of your server where your best population on a good day is probably 15. I don't mind putting a lot of time into my gear, but if it's going to be this tedious where I am unable to pk in the same day I join the server then there's too much work involved. I love the concept of insta cast/5.00 base on a 1.5 server, it's amazing but when you have such a low population IT MAKES NO SENSE TO MAKE GETTING YOUR GEAR SO TEDIOUS.
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing, absolutely nothing wrong with farming for your gear but when a new player such as me (and there are a lot like me that would love to join the server, trust me) comes to a server with quite a few bugs and a low population I am already bummed out. Then, I get my gear and shards and refines and skills and all that good stuff only to find that the margin between the starter gear and the end-game gear is HUGE. I can't even have a little fun as a stress reliever from all the farming you require to get the gear in the first place because I'd be a one-shot. Again this is from a new players perspective so take that into mind. It just doesn't make any sense to have such a non-active server and have the farming difficulty up to moderate servers. I understand, you don't want people to just get something for nothing and that is perfectly ok, but my suggestion is lower the difficulty and work required to get the endgame gear, wait for your population to grow and steadily increase the difficulty, maybe update the gears every now and then so people always have something to work towards. That way, by the time you increase the difficulty and work required to get the gear in the first place there will be more than enough people, more than enough guilds to help out newcomers whom at this point won't be so bummed because they are getting their gears much faster and needing to do half the work thanks to their guildies or friends.
Normally, I'd go into much more detail about this kind of thing but it is almost 6 am and I honestly think I summed it all up in a nutshell. Now please take this, and think, really think, doesn't this make sense?
Again, love the server and I don't want to leave it I am willing to invite my friends over and they will invite their friends over and before you know it you'll have a solid 60-70 people online daily at least 30% of them being donators. You just have to meet me halfway here, it's not like I am asking for a lot just some lowered requirements followed by progressively higher requirements. No server that went big if even only for a few weeks started with difficult farming. Thanks for reading.
